A homegrown Olive Branch business is expanding into Old Towne.
Brian and Leigh Harris have purchased the 1930 "seed house" in Old Towne, known as the House of Fink Building. The sale includes the courtyard between the Cotton Gin and their building. Using their work experience in the printing industry, Brian and Leigh Harris started Novagiant Media in 2000. In 1994, Brian got interested in web site development and has expanded his work in that area. According to the company, Novagiant Media is different because it has extensive knowledge in web media and print media. Novagiant's creative design work spans small projects such as logo design to full campaign marketing.
In 2003, Novagiant Media published the first Olive Branch Magazine and today publishes not only the Olive Branch but Southaven and Hernando magazines as well.
"We have been so blessed over the years" said Leigh Harris. "Our clients are family to us and it is important that they look outstanding in everything we do for them."
Brian and Leigh Harris became property owners in Olive Branch Old Towne on Aug. 4.
"Since moving to Olive Branch, I have always been fascinated with Olive Branch's history, especially Old Towne. I have been on the Old Towne Association as a board member for years and am on the design review board for Old Towne because it is so important that Old Towne succeeds." said Leigh.
Novagiant Media has been operating out of the Harris home.
"This is a great opportunity for us to expand our business and become a part of the community in Old Towne" said Brian Harris. " When I first saw the building and the courtyard it was love at first sight. I knew this place would be perfect for creative thinking and fresh ideas. It makes me feel like we are a unique part of Old Towne"
Novagiant plans to do major internal renovations on the building and plans to keep "the Old Towne feel" on the outside. The owners said they also plan to renovate the courtyard and make it a place for people to enjoy and relax in Old Towne.
